Now I've gone and done it

Against all common wisdom, I've decided to write a novel for my high school daughter as a graduation present. It's November. That means I have roughly 7 months to write, complete and publish the book. Usually that entails writing full drafts twice, each time refining the story, dialogue character assignments and any plot twists. The third time through is when I layer in the atmosphere, color for world-building and such. If you're doing the math, I'm writing a book every two months. I probably could have thought this through a little better. But, anyway, away we go. No time to sit here chattering...
